Monthly Coaching
£60 per month

Training, though, is dynamic, everyone adapts at different rates - colds, niggles, and life sometimes get in the way and the plan has to adapt.

This is were coaching comes in, we aim to supply a training plan based on information you give us, this is then dynamically worked to adjust for the realities of real life with regular contact time.

I will provide an ongoing support service, for as long as the athlete wants it - writing training plans on a continuous basis for each new target, or for a shorter block, writing plans to a runners specific target event, usually a marathon.

How it works

Bespoke to you

In the first place I will gather information on the runner; age, experience, current best times, target events, current training, from this I will agree a structure leading up to the event; i.e. aerobic running, moving to speed endurance + long runs, on to faster intervals and race pace training, final race preparation.

Fluid plan

Each month prepare the months training, taking into account feedback from the runner on the previous block.

Any time contact by telephone, email, messenger, Whatsapp, to discuss things as they go along, and to look at life style elements that may be affecting performance, i.e. work/life balance, poor nutrition, etc.

IIn person meet ups, if possible geographically.

Analysis of the training and the final race performance.

Payment is by monthly direct debit subscription with a minimum duration of 4 months, which works well if the plan is up to a specific target, such as a key marathon.

One off meeting
£60 fee

Mike also offers a one off consultation meeting. Depending on location Mike can meet you, talk about training objectives and help review your current training plan or provide general advice. Afterwards, an overall training plan towards your target event can be prepared with email back-up in the week or two following. Mike can also watch your running style and make suggestions on how to improve your form.

One off club/group sessions
From £100 / half day

Mike can run a half a day session for your running club. We can agree the structure to the session and cater for abilities.
